…they just don’t make them like this anymore.
When the world lost iconic stars Michael Jackson and Whitney Houston, fans worldwide were in complete disbelief upon learning about their untimely passing however, their popularity continued to soar afterwards.
According to blAckwebamerica, the duo will be inducted into the Rhythm & Blues Hall of Fame and Museum on August 24 in Clanton, Ohio.
Here’s where things get a bit interesting for those of you who are in numerology. Jackson and Houston’s award will be presented to each star’s parents, Joseph Jackson and Cissy Houston. Reportedly, Joe Jackson was born in 1928 while Cissy was born fiver years later in 1933. Both were in the their 30th year when their soon-to-be superstar children were born; Michael Jackson in 1958 while Whitney Houston in 1963.
Are you seeing the pattern here with the number five? Okay, let’s continue. blAckamerica noted that in an article that focuses on numerology entitled ‘Number 5 Numerology – A Dynamic Force’, the author Hans Decoz, explained that the number 5 serves as the most “dynamic and energetic” number in single digits.
That qualifies it as being an unpredictable, constantly moving and the need for change. Generally, the number five posses more feminine qualities but does have an equal mixture composed of both feminine and masculine traits. Maybe that explains the highs and lows of both Jackson and Houston’s widely respected careers.
The ceremony will take place at the Canton Palace Theater at a surprising number…well, time in this case 5 o’clock. It is there that other honorees will include The Whispers, Marvin Gay, The Funk Brothers, The Sweet Inspirations and more.
Cleveland State University in Ohio hosted the R&BHOF ceremony last year where alumni from Motown were inducted such as The Temptations, The Four Tops, Jackie Wilson and more.
