I’m Fine and NOT Missing
Katherine Jackson has spoken to police, and she is not in danger … TMZ has learned.
Law enforcement sources tell TMZ police were able to make contact with Katherine today in Arizona … and she informed them “she is fine and with a family member.”
The LA County Sheriff’s Department has been investigating Katherine’s whereabouts since she was reported missing late Saturday night.
We’re told the Sheriff’s Dept. is still speaking to Jackson family members to find out exactly why Katherine’s nephew filed the missing person report in the first place.
Jackson family matriarch Katherine Jackson is safe at home, after a missing persons report was filed on Saturday night when family members were unable to reach her, CNN reports.
Apparently the 82-year-old had been MIA for the past week, and the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department said in a statement on Sunday:
“Katherine Jackson is reportedly with family members. Late Saturday night, a different family member reported that he was unable to speak to her and is concerned for her well-being. Deputies are continuing to make efforts to reach her and ask that she contact the Malibu/Lost Hills Sheriff’s Station.”
Michael’s 14-year-old daughter Paris Jackson Tweeted her concern for her grandmother early Sunday morning, expressing: “Yes, my grandmother is missing. I haven’t spoken with her in a week [and] I want her home now.”
Jackson’s lawyer, Sandra Ribera, told CNN Katherine flew from Calabasas, Calif. to Albuquerque, New Mexico July 15 to attend a Jackson brothers concert with her eldest daughter, Rebbie, but her family “haven’t been able to reach her for almost a week.”
“They are told she’s unavailable . . . I’m concerned that she’s not safe,” said Ribera, adding that Katherine “has never gone 24 hours without talking to her kids.”
In other news, a doctor with ties to Dr. Conrad Murray reportedly tricked Katherine into believing he was treating her on behalf of her regular physician in the moments before she disappeared.
“Last weekend Katherine Jackson was getting ready to leave for a much anticipated road trip in the RV her son Michael bought for her to watch her sons perform,” Katherine’s lawyer revealed to Celebuzz.
“Prior to her departure, a doctor was brought to her home and represented that he had been sent from the office of her longtime physician. Based on this representation, Mrs. Jackson agreed to meet with the doctor who subsequently ordered her to fly rather than drive to her sons’ concerts. Mrs. Jackson followed what she believed to be her doctor’s instructions,” she said, adding: “Katherine Jackson’s longtime physician recently confirmed that his office did not send a doctor to Mrs. Jackson’s home last weekend before she left on her trip. It has further been discovered that the doctor that Katherine Jackson last saw has been publicly reprimanded by the California Medical Board for fraudulent activities and has ties to Dr. Conrad Murray.”
It’s been a dramatic week for the Jackson family, who publicly criticized the executors of the late Michael’s will, John Branca and John McClain, who they claim have been taking advantage of their mother and defrauding the family.

That doctor is Allan Metzger, who testified for the defense during Dr. Conrad Murray‘s involuntary manslaughter trial, RadarOnline.com is exclusively reporting.
The matriarch of the Jackson family “was recently examined by Dr. Allan Metzger. The visit was arranged by two sons, Jermaine and Randy Jackson. Katherine already has a doctor, but her sons insisted that she see Dr. Metzger,” a source close to the situation tells RadarOnline.com exclusively.
As previously reported, Katherine Jackson has been reported missing to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department after her grandchildren, Paris, Prince, and Blanket were unable to reach her all week.
Earlier in the week, Katherine Jackson was blindsided by news a letter had been written by several of her children to the executors of Michael’s estate, demanding their resignation. The letter, allegedly from Janet, Rebie, Tito, Randy, and Jermaine, demanded that executors John Branca and John McClain resign as executors. The letter also alleged that Katherine Jackson is in bad health and had recently suffered a mini-stroke. Katherine’s lawyer told CNN she is in good health and did not suffer a mini-stroke.
Dr. Metzger testified during Dr. Conrad Murray’s criminal trial that Michael Jackson had asked him for “juice,” to help him sleep as he prepared for his concerts in London. “He asked me about intravenous sleep medicine. He used the word ‘juice,'” he said. “I don’t think he mentioned the word of a specific sleep medication. [Jackson] did not believe any oral medicine would be helpful,” Dr. Metzger said during the trial.
The Beverly Hills internist treated Jackson for over 15 years.
“Randy are Jermaine seem to be trying to take control of Katherine’s affairs. The fact that Michael’s children have been unable to talk to her is extremely distressing. Jermaine has Tweeted that Katherine is in Arizona, on the advice of a doctor and resting. Why does she need to be in another state and unable to communicate with Paris, Prince and Blanket, as she is their legal guardian,” a family source tells us.
Michael’s mother gets $70,000 a month from her late son’s estate for living expenses. The sole beneficiaries of Michael’s estate are his three children and his mother.
