Be A Pepper (Dr Pepper commercial)

Album’s performer: Michael Jackson

I drink Doctor Pepper and I’m proud

I used to feel alone in a crowd

But now you look around these days

That seems to be a Doctor Pepper craze

I’m a Pepper in the sunshine

I’m a Pepper in the moonlight

I’m a Pepper in the good times

Doctor Pepper

I’m a Pepper

You’re a Pepper

Good times

Drink Doctor Pepper

Everywhere you go are Peppers

Lots of folks you know are Peppers

Wouldn’t you like to be a Pepper too

I’m a Pepper

He’s a Pepper

And if you drink Doctor Pepper

You will find that you’re a Pepper too

Drink Doctor Pepper

Drink Doctor Pepper

Be a Pepper

Drink Doctor Pepper

This is the first drink cola being sold on the U.S. market in 1885.
Originally, it is a drink handcrafted by an employee of a pharmacy in Texas who will be assisted by his boss to produce it and make it known. The boissson “Dr Pepper” will go on sale one year before Coca-Cola. This drink is part of American heritage, it is little known and distributed in the Old World in favor of brands like Coca-Cola or Pepsi. In 1973, Dr Pepper says its communication to the advertising agency Young and Rubicam (Y & R) …

Dr Pepper and Y & R will provide the services of the group for their new campaign of the late 70’s “Be A Pepper”. This collaboration is not known to fans as it was undervalued.
The Jacksons released in August 1978, the album “Destiny”. They say in their work, CBS agreed to give them carte blanche to design this album. The titles “Blame It On The Boogie” and especially “Shake Your Body” accessing the U.S. topped the charts.
We know for a few months, this is the song “Blame It On The Boogie” which will rechanté by the group for the purposes of the campaign “Be A Pepper”
